Built tough for site work
A converted shipping container is strong, secure and easy to move from one job to the next by crane truck. We do the steel work, framing, insulation and fit-out in our Keysborough workshop, so the unit arrives on site ready to use.
What we build
- Site offices with a personnel door, windows with security screens, a desk bench, lights, power and air conditioning.
- Lunchrooms with benches, a sink bench and space for a fridge and microwave.
- Change rooms with lockers, hooks and benches.
- Tool rooms and secure storage with roller doors, shelving, racking and lighting.
- Combination units, such as an office at one end and a tool room at the other.
Fitted out properly
- Openings are cut and framed in steel so the container stays strong and can still be lifted.
- Walls and ceilings are insulated and lined, and floors are covered with hard-wearing vinyl.
- Electrical and any plumbing work is done and certified by licensed trades, which we coordinate.
- Rust is treated and the exterior is painted, including council or company colours if you need them.
Other container conversions
We also build container granny flats and small second homes and other container homes and conversions. Send us your layout or a rough sketch and we will quote it.
Common questions
How quickly can you build a container site office?
A standard 20 foot site office or tool room is a simple conversion, and lead times depend on container availability and the fit-out. We give you the lead time in your quote.
Can you build several identical units for a council or builder?
Yes. We can agree one standard layout and build every unit to it, so crews know where everything is and spare parts are the same across the fleet.
Can you deliver the container to site?
We can arrange delivery and placement with a crane truck or tilt tray. The site needs clear access and level ground or footings before the container arrives.
