What we collect
When you contact us through the quote form, by phone or by email, we collect the details you give us: usually your name, business name, phone number, email address, details of your truck and the work you need, and any photos you send.
When you use the quote form, our web server also records the date and time and your IP address, to protect the form from spam and abuse.
How we use it
We use your details to answer your enquiry, prepare quotes, carry out and invoice the work, and contact you about it. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without asking.
Who we share it with
We share information only where it is needed to do your job, for example with your insurer or assessor for an insurance repair, with engineers or certifiers for a modification, or with suppliers and technicians working on your truck. We also use service providers such as our web host and email provider, who store information on our behalf.
How we store it
Enquiries are emailed to our workshop inbox and a copy is kept on our web hosting account, outside the public website. We keep information only as long as we need it for the job, our records and our legal obligations.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising cookies. The quote form uses a short-lived security token to block spam.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing inquiry@vntruckbodies.com or calling 03 9798 2573. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
